I believe in filmmaking as a labour of love. Not as content, not simply as a career, but as a vocation - something pursued because there is an overwhelming need to bring stories to the screen. I believe in intention. In care. In the idea that every frame should carry the hand, eye and conviction of the people who made it. That every choice matters and every element needs crafting.

Nathan Christoffel is a multi-award-winning scripted and commercial director whose work spans feature film and high-end advertising content. Originally from Byron Bay, he established himself in Melbourne through commercial work for global brands including Mercedes, BMW and TAG Heuer, and founded the full-service production company Picture Co in 2015.
Mentored by Academy Award-nominated director Rolf de Heer, Christoffel made an early mark in feature filmmaking with his 2009 student feature Eraser Children. The film won Best Australian Film at both the Melbourne Underground Film Festival and the Sydney Sci-Fi Film Festival, and opened Sci-Fi London. Christoffel withdrew the film from public release as he was not satisfied with the end product.
Now based on the East Coast of Australia, Christoffel continues to work across commercial and scripted projects while developing a slate of feature films across multiple genres. His upcoming projects include the techno-thriller Alt., slated for production in Queensland, Australia.
Across both his narrative and commercial work, including more than 100 commercials for clients around the world, Christoffel brings a cinematic visual style and a strong commitment to ambitious, genre-driven storytelling.
